The B1G 1 X2 Dual Gain Booster is essentially two separate Not So B1G 1 units (sans footswitch) designed for guitarists running a two amp stereo setup or those who wish to place two units anywhere in their signal chain. Inspired by guitarist Julian Lage, the Not So B1G models have no foot switches. Julian never turns off his B1G units but when needed, there are two separate on/off slider switches on the back of the unit. Each side of the unit is independent of the other with separate input, outputs and 9V power sockets. For emergencies, there are also two internal nine 9 volt battery clips in the event your external power supply fails.
Designed by electronic guru Lee Jackson, the B1G 1 Gain Booster was engineered to be a high fidelity, studio quality gain boost ( It features +32db of clean headroom!) without adding or detracting anything from the original signal. It is in effect, an analog pre-amp on par with vintage and modern recording studio channel strips with some extra added "love".

SOUND TIP
Many players like using the B1G 1 as the last pedal before their amp in their signal path. With the X2 you can experiment placing either side of the unit anywhere you'd like. Give it a try!!!
If necessary, the unit can be powered by a nine volt battery or a nine volt external power source (100ma minimum) but performs best with a 9 volt DC external power supply. Powering the unit with a 9 volt battery won't last more than a couple of hours but it is there in the event your external power supply fails.

WARRANTY
Shin-ei LLC offers a two year warranty on the B1G 1 X2 Pre Amp Gain Booster to the original purchaser of the device. We do not offer any warranty on preowned units sold on the secondary market regardless of when the unit was originally purchased by the first owner.
